TVE SDK Quick Start Guide

A step-by-step guide to add Flash video encoding to your website.

Step 1 - Install System Codecs

TVE SDK uses codecs installed in the system in order to be able to decode video. If you have many codecs installed then TVE SDK will be able to handle many input video types.

We recommend the following software: QuickTime Player; Windows Media Player; and a generic codec pack. For details on how to install the recommended software consult this Knowledge Base article.

Note 1 : You can skip this step if you don't need to encode many video formats.

Note 2: We'll assume that you can install software in your website, otherwise ask your hosting provider to install this software for you.
